In September 2025, the price indices for oilseeds and meals continued to rise, increasing by 0.9 and 1.2 points respectively. The price index for vegetable oils decreased by 1.2 points after three months of growth. Soybean prices remained virtually unchanged despite deteriorating growing conditions in the US and lack of demand from China. Sunflower seed prices rose due to slow harvest and worsening production forecasts in the Black Sea region. Rapeseed prices increased due to reduced supplies from Ukraine.
