BCG β Decoding Global Talent, 2024
Summary
The BCG Decoding Global Talent study examines how job seekers perceive their negotiating power in the labor market, what they value most in an employer and job, and the deal breakers that could make a job unacceptable.
The study also explores the use of GenAI at work and its impact on jobs, as well as the plans individuals have to acquire marketable skills. Additionally, the study investigates what employers can do to attract and retain workers. This is the fourth study in the series since 2014, conducted in collaboration with BCG, The Network, and The Stepstone Group. The study is the largest data source on global preferences in ways of working, with nearly 900,000 responses worldwide. This year's edition includes insights from 150,735 survey respondents in 188 countries and interviews with several individuals.
