EigenLayer is currently in Stage 2 of its launch, with a full mainnet launch expected later this year. Other projects like EigenDA, Babylon, and Picasso are also exploring shared security protocols for different blockchains. Liquid restaking protocols, allowing users to stake while maintaining liquidity through LRT tokens, have seen significant growth with over $3.5B in TVL. Projects like Ether.fi, Puffer Finance, and Renzo Protocol are leading this market, with more teams expected to innovate and enter the market in the future.
