KAPSARC – Facilitating the Low-Carbon Hydrogen Market: Opportunities

The hydrogen industry is currently facing a pivotal moment as regulations and incentives for low-carbon hydrogen are being established. Despite this progress, market participants are hesitant to invest in production projects and infrastructure due to challenges such as the chicken-and-egg dilemma. KAPSARC organized a workshop with over 40 experts to address these issues and evaluate if existing incentives and carbon accounting guidelines are adequate in driving the industry's growth. The workshop aimed to explore opportunities and create a viable business model to facilitate the development of the low-carbon hydrogen market.
