S. corn exports. The marketing year 2024/25 was a record year for U.S. corn exports, reaching 72.6 million metric tons due to abundant supplies and strong global demand. Exports expanded to both established and new markets, with 16 new destinations added compared to the previous year. Significant growth was observed in Mexico, Japan, Colombia, South Korea, Central America, Southeast Asia, the European Union, and North Africa. The forecast for 2025/26 projects further growth to 81.3 million metric tons, supported by record supplies and strong demand. Early export inspections indicate record high volumes with notable growth in multiple regions.
