Ipsos – What Worries the World, Aug 2025

The main theme of the report is the study of public opinion on the most important social and political issues in 30 countries.

Key findings include that crime and violence remain the top concern, mentioned by a third of respondents (32%). In Latin America and some European countries like Sweden and France, crime is the main issue. Thailand shows high concern over military conflict due to recent border tensions with Cambodia. France exhibits the greatest pessimism about the economy, with only 9% of respondents considering the economy good.
