MTI – Singapore Economy, 2030

The Ministry of Trade and Industry, led by Minister Gan Kim Yong, emphasizes the need for Singapore to remain agile and continue growing its economy by seizing new opportunities and enhancing productivity, innovation, and competitiveness. The Ministry's efforts are guided by the Singapore Economy 2030 vision, which aims to create a vibrant economy with opportunities for all. The focus areas for achieving this vision include Trade 2030, which aims to grow Singapore's trading volume and expand trade globally, Enterprise 2030, which focuses on building a vibrant ecosystem of future-ready enterprises, Manufacturing 2030, which seeks to increase manufacturing value-add and establish Singapore as a global hub for Advanced Manufacturing, and Services 2030, which aims to grow the Modern Services cluster's value-add and anchor Singapore as a leading hub for businesses, lifestyle, and tourism. The Ministry will support businesses and workers to address challenges, uplift capabilities, and seize growth opportunities in these key sectors.
