There are over 2 million medical technologies across 7,000 groups available in various healthcare settings. These technologies include everyday items like plasters and masks, as well as advanced devices like scanners and implants. Medical technologies play a crucial role in improving quality of life, care, and healthcare system efficiency and sustainability. While they may go unnoticed, these technologies are always there, helping people live longer and better lives.
