Dealroom – LatAm VC report 1Q2024

In the first quarter of 2024, Latin America saw a total of $787 million in venture capital investment. Startups in the region raised $107 million in Pre-Seed and Seed rounds of under $4 million, while Series A rounds amounted to $140 million. Series B saw $225 million raised, and Series C+ had $316 million raised. Overall, LatAm venture capital investment is on track with 2023 levels. There were 59 rounds of over $2 million raised by LatAm startups in the first three months of 2024. Early-stage VC has remained stable, while late-stage VC investment has not yet recovered from the impacts of 2022.
