Dealroom – Opening Moves in Global AI, Feb 2025

The Dealroom report highlights significant trends in AI venture capital investment, which reached an all-time high in 2024. AI venture capital grew by 62% between 2023 and 2024, while investment in the rest of the tech sector fell by 12%. The foundational layer of AI has been the primary driver of this growth, with AI now accounting for a third of global venture capital, more than double its share from two years ago.
