SVB – State of CVC Report, 2023

In the SVB – State of CVC Report for 2023, they conducted a survey to understand how active global corporate venture capital (CVC) firms are adapting to the evolving investment environment. The report revealed data from approximately 20% of the active CVCs globally. The survey included 209 CVC funds, which is an increase from 164 in the previous year. These funds were spread across 27 countries, representing 4 continents and operating in 11 different industries. The report highlighted that these CVC funds deployed around $7 billion in capital per year, making up approximately 38% of the global CVC deals. This indicates the significant impact that CVCs have in the investment landscape.
