Dutch startups raised $495 million in Q3 2024, matching the amount raised in Q3 2023. The breakdown of funding rounds by size ranges from pre-seed to mega rounds, with $2 million rounds and above reaching 27 in Q3 2024. Early-stage VC funding in the Netherlands has slightly decreased, with Nearfield Instruments raising the only megaround at $149 million. Breakout-stage VC funding remains steady year on year. Despite a drop in early-stage VC funding, the Netherlands' venture capital investment is tracking slightly below 2022 levels but ahead of 2023. Foodtech is the most funded industry in the Netherlands in 2024.
