The report focuses on the analysis of small satellite launches from 2015 to 2024.

Small satellites (weighing up to 1,200 kg) represent a significant portion of all spacecraft launched during this period. In 2024, small satellites accounted for 97% of all launched spacecraft and 81% of the total mass of all launched spacecraft. The report includes data both with and without small satellites for broadband on low Earth orbit (LEO) to show trends in other types of systems.
