Key findings include: Mobile connectivity plays a central role in the digital transformation of Latin America. The region has more than 450 million unique mobile subscribers. There is a growing demand for faster and more reliable networks. Progress in expanding coverage and deploying 5G: more than 30 operators in 13 countries have already launched commercial 5G services. By the end of 2027, 5G is expected to account for a quarter of mobile connections in the region, and by the end of 2030, it will exceed 50%.
