KPMG in India released a comprehensive report titled "Redefining TMT with AI" in October 2024, examining the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors. The study reveals that 55% of TMT organizations in India have fully integrated AI into their operations, with an additional 37% in the process of scaling their AI initiatives. Key findings include a 5-10% reduction in operational costs and returns exceeding 10% on AI investments for 67% of companies. The report also highlights challenges such as a shortage of skilled talent and high implementation costs, offering recommendations to overcome these barriers and fully leverage AI's potential in the TMT industry.
