Strategy& – Cloud Computing in the Middle East

Cloud computing adoption in the Middle East is on the rise, thanks to government investments and the increasing presence of public cloud providers. These developments are making cloud solutions more accessible to organizations in both the public and private sectors, helping them capture value from the technology more quickly. PwC and Strategy& have conducted a survey to gauge the level of cloud impact in the region, which is the first of its kind publicly available research in the Middle East. This publication summarizes their analysis and provides valuable insights for both cloud computing customers and Cloud PMSPs (Cloud professional and managed services providers). According to the analysis, cloud adoption has surpassed the initial adoption phase and is now set for accelerated growth in the region. PwC and Strategy& Middle East have identified how leading companies are benefiting from cloud technology and highlight key considerations for Cloud PMSPs operating in the Middle East. Overall, this research indicates that the Middle East is quickly catching up to other markets in terms of cloud computing adoption, providing organizations with a faster route to achieving the benefits of this technology. The insights provided in this publication are expected to aid both cloud computing customers and Cloud PMSPs in making informed decisions and maximizing the value they derive from cloud solutions in the Middle East.
