IATA – Quarterly Air Transport Chartbook, Q3 2024

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has released its "Quarterly Air Transport Chartbook" for the third quarter of 2024, providing a comprehensive analysis of the airline industry's passenger, cargo, and financial performance. The report highlights that global passenger traffic continued its upward trend in Q3 2024, with revenue passenger kilometers (RPKs) increasing by 10.1% compared to the same period in the previous year. This growth was driven by strong demand in both domestic and international markets. Cargo traffic also saw a significant rise, with available cargo tonne-kilometers (ACTKs) increasing by 7.6% year-over-year.
