AMADEUS – Shaping the Future of Luxury Travel Future Traveller Tribes 2030

The report, "Shaping the Future of Luxury Travel: Future Traveller Tribes 2030," was created by Amadeus in partnership with Tourism Economics, Amadeus Travel Intelligence, Connections Events, The Telegraph, and industry experts. The report used primary and secondary research methods to analyze luxury travel trends. This included analyzing Tourism Economics estimates of the number of outbound luxury trips from each region between 2011 and present, and projected growth patterns until 2025. The report also used data from Amadeus Travel Intelligence, insights from roundtable discussions at Connections Luxury events, and a survey conducted in association with The Telegraph. The survey was emailed to 2,500 members of the publication’s reader panel and to all the subscribers of the Connections newsletter and asked the question "What kind of luxury traveller are you?" The report aims to provide insight into the current and future state of luxury travel, and how industry collaboration could be improved.
