The global Net Employment Outlook (NEO) for tech talent is 35%, indicating a positive hiring trend but with a slight weakening of 3% since the previous quarter and 5% compared to the same period last year. 76% of employers report struggling to find skilled tech talent, though this is down from 78% in 2024. Key strategies to overcome talent shortages include expanding workplace flexibility, upskilling and reskilling employees, and targeting new talent pools. The strongest hiring outlooks by country are Brazil, Peru, and India, with IT & data talent being the most difficult to find.
