ManpowerGroup – Employment Report, 2Q 2024

The latest ManpowerGroup Employment Report surveyed 40,385 employers from 42 countries to gauge their hiring intentions, focus on diverse talent, and address the gender gap for the second quarter of 2024. The Global Net Employment Outlook decreased by -2% year-over-year and -4% compared to the first quarter of 2024, now standing at 22%. Flexible working was cited by 37% of companies as a key factor in retaining talent and expanding their candidate pool to be more diverse. This report also highlights the highest global hiring demand, with the Net Employment Outlook (NEO) at 22%, serving as a benchmark for labor market trends internationally.
