ENI – World Energy Review, 2023

ENI has released the 22nd edition of the World Energy Review (WER), which serves as a comprehensive statistical review on energy. The publication, edited and presented by ENI, has become a trusted reference for the energy industry. Throughout its evolution, WER has adapted to the changing energy landscape, covering not only conventional sources but also renewable energy. In recent years, the publication has placed a greater emphasis on strategic topics like natural gas and critical minerals, which play a crucial role in the energy transition. To provide the latest information in a timely manner, the World Energy Review is released in two stages. In July, a preview is published that includes essential data on the oil and gas sectors, as well as statistics on modern renewables and critical materials. This allows readers to have access to key information sooner. The full version of the publication, with updated and detailed information on all variables, is released in October.
