Lowy Asia Power Index – Key Findings Report, 2024

The Lowy Institute's annual Asia Power Index measures the resources and influence of states in Asia to rank their relative power. The 2024 edition ranks 27 countries and territories based on their capacity to shape their external environment. The report includes Timor-Leste for the first time, reflecting its growing importance. The project evaluates power in Asia through 131 indicators across eight thematic measures.
