Key findings include a decrease in the number of deals from 4,958 in Q4'24 to 3,762 in Q1'25. The total investment volume in private equity also declined from $463.8 billion in Q4'24 to $444.9 billion in Q1'25, although it was higher compared to Q1'24 ($381.9 billion). The highest activity was recorded in the Americas, with announced deals worth $287.1 billion. In the EMA region, deals worth $109.1 billion were announced, and in the ASPAC region, $37.5 billion.
