The main theme of the report is the analysis of global private equity activity for the third quarter of 2025.

Key findings include: The total global private equity investment volume for the first three quarters of 2025 was $1.5 trillion, with $537 billion in the third quarter. The Americas attracted the most investment ($322.9 billion), with the US accounting for $300.2 billion of that amount. The infrastructure and transport sector showed particularly strong results, attracting $126.3 billion in investments, marking a three-year high. Investors continue to exercise caution due to geopolitical and trade tensions, as well as the need to improve exit volumes to revitalize the private equity ecosystem.
