Eurostat – Key Figures on European Transport 2025 Edition

This report presents a selection of transport indicators for the European Union and EFTA countries.

It covers various aspects including transport of people and goods, transport equipment, safety, infrastructure, economy, and environmental impact. Transport contributes around 3% to the EU’s GDP and employs 6.3 million people. It also accounts for about 27% of the EU’s total greenhouse gas emissions. The statistics support monitoring progress towards the EU Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy objectives.
