IATA – Air Cargo Market Analysis, Jan 2025

The overall demand for air cargo increased by 3.2% compared to the previous year, marking 18 months of continuous growth. International cargo shipments grew by 3.6% year-on-year, with the highest growth observed in Latin America and the Caribbean region (10%). Global cargo capacity increased by 6.8% year-on-year, but the load factor decreased to 43.9%. Jet fuel prices fell by 11.2% compared to the previous year, while air cargo yield continued to grow, increasing by 7.0% year-on-year.
