The report assesses the five-year impact of the Women in Wind Global Leadership Program, aimed at promoting gender equality in the wind energy sector.
The program has helped to break down cultural and systemic barriers by providing tools for professional success and creating a safe and inclusive community. Women make up only 21% of the global wind energy workforce, with just 8% in leadership roles. 84% of program participants report increased confidence in pursuing leadership roles, and 77% of alumni advance in their careers. The program has reached over 80 women from more than 20 emerging markets.
